DeCice-Hall-Interior

Description
Welcome! DeCicé (de-SEE-say) Hall was conceived with accessibility in mind. It is especially good for small organizations, workplace and affinity groups in need of a comfortable meeting space. It is also a fine venue for individuals hoping to gather 4-60 people around a theme, series, or specific opportunity. Spiritual resources are also available. Groups do not need to be identified as religious or spiritual to make use of DeCicé Hall.

Seating, Tables, Atmosphere

Easily-configured seminar-style tables and cozy meeting chairs make for flexible use for up to 60 people. The fine, neutral, textured palette throughout complements groups’ needs and offers space for people to think, create, and display their ideas during workshops or events. Wite board, newsprint and easel, and other meeting supplies are routinely available.

Multi-Media and Communications

Features include an advanced audio-visual system with small-theater DVD projection, microphones, computer with wireless internet, keyboard and mouse and Microsoft Professional (including Power Point) package; room-darkening shades; podium, flip charts, dry erase board and supplies. There is Wi-Fi throughout. Spiritual communication resources and assistance with publicity can also be made available.

Catering and Hospitality

Hot beverages and spring water are routinely available. DeCicé Hall features a hospitality kitchenette. There is a large refrigerator with freezer, serving counter, and sink in the kitchenette to serve caterers’ and facilitators’ needs. Staff can recommend local restaurants to cater refreshments or meals.

Accessibility

A ramped entrance to the Hall, automatic door-opening feature, on-site parking, handicapped-accessible restrooms and hospitality kitchenette complete the array of amenities.

Spiritual Resources

The Daughters of the Heart of Mary respond to prayer requests. In addition to reserving the Hall itself, groups may wish to make arrangements to participate in the Eucharist and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with the Marian Center community; participate in the perpetual enrollment of the Mass for special intentions; reserve the Marian Center Chapel for prayerful time; take reflective strolls around the beautiful grounds.
